Who We are
About JL Therapeutics
JL Therapeutics is a team of passionate massage therapists, bodyworkers, and wellness practitioners. We work together under one roof, sharing ideas and experience to help each other grow – so every client benefits from the knowledge of the whole team, not just one therapist.
our mission
Holistic Health Support
At JL Therapeutics, every session is built around you. We’re a therapeutic massage and bodywork studio, which means we listen first, take your concerns seriously, and tailor the work to what your body needs that day – whether it’s relief from a nagging ache or ongoing care to keep you feeling your best.
We also know massage is one part of the bigger picture. We have trusted relationships with practitioners across many disciplines and are always happy to help with referrals when you need more than massage can offer.

As the owner of JL Therapeutics, I’ve built this studio around one belief: everyone deserves to feel good in their body, and self-care should fit your life – not the other way around. My commitment is to work with you as your needs change from session to session.
Wellness has been my world for a long time. I spent more than 10 years as a personal and group fitness instructor, managed health food stores, led boot camps for expecting mothers, and partnered with a dietitian to create an after-school health and fitness program for kids.
I also know aches and pains firsthand. I grew up as a competitive figure skater before playing volleyball at the high school and collegiate levels, which taught me how much the right bodywork matters.
I’m so grateful to have such a talented group of practitioners under one roof here at JL Therapeutics. Together, we look forward to helping you reach your goals with the same passion and dedication we bring to our own health and the people we love.

- Sports and Orthopedic
Cathy attended Irene’s Myomassology Institute and graduated in 2014. She has enjoyed working with many types of professionals. She has previously worked in the medical field as a Medical Assistant and Home Health Aide and found that she was more passionate about the natural healing of the human body. In her experience, she has worked side by side with Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, and Holistic Medical Professionals. She has also practiced in the Spa Industry and possesses many key relaxation techniques. Her skills include sports/orthopedic massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, isometric techniques, active/assisted stretching, hot stone, Swedish massage, and facial and hand massage. Many of Cathy’s clients would say she really excels in shoulder and arm work, including bicep tendonitis, rotator cuff injuries, and carpal tunnel.
Cathy’s personal belief and intent for each massage session is to be able to merge her healing abilities with the phenomenal healing abilities of the human body. Choosing a massage is great for the mind first, and then the body follows.
